 The handmade ceramic objects emerge from an understanding of organic forms and a personal encounter with the material, and speak of intimacy and playfulness. The creative process is intuitive, beginning with the discovery of form and finding expression in the design of evolving series of shapes and colors.

Simone sees working with glaze as another field of artistic experimentation, which she pursues by developing her own glazes.

In collaboration with visual artists, Simone Oberlechner also produces an edition of art ceramics every year.
